Watch, listen and learn...

There is a whole method of musical instrument instruction called the Suzuki method. One important part of this method is listening. Students listen to recorded versions of the songs they are learing to play 1000 times (give or take) so they mentally know the song.

While the Suzuki method is typically used for classical music instruction, it can be applied to any style. If you are able to sing the song in your head - the whole way through, drum parts, guitar solos, eveything - it makes it very easy to then translate that to your instrument (and your band).

Let's say that again in a little shorter way. Listen to the songs you are learing to play! Watch the performances and be able to "play them in your head"!

Chose your program from the menu at the left and then choose a song to see performances, lessons, tab, or extra fun facts and videos.
