2012 Rock Academy Summer Camp
Quick Facts
- Musical/instrument experience is recommended, but not required. However, an interest in music and the willingness to try different instruments is required.
- Camp hours are 9:00am - 1:00pm. Campers are required to bring a lunch.
- A free camp concert will be held Friday of each camp week at noon for family and friends. Doors open at 11:45.

Our Summer Training Camps are ideal programs for musicians ages 9-17 who want an immersive summer day camp experience. Students spend one week working in a hands-on atmosphere honing their performance and ensemble expertise as well as learning valuable music industry-related skills.
Not only will they meet and interact with other talented young musicians, they're also given unique access to established music professionals who will share their experience and knowledge to help students understand some of the options open to them in the music industry. Summer Training Camps are the perfect complement to our core program and a great introduction to The Rock Academy
Summer Training Camps include:
- Music Theory instruction
- Rock music appreciation
- Crash course of live performance skills
- Elements of song writing, composition and arrangement
- Studio/Rehearsal time
- Guitar, Bass, Drums, Keyboards and Vocal clinics
- Group instruction with music professionals
- A LIVE rock show performance for all of your friends and family
